چکیده
Abstract The violent eruption of Hunga Tonga-Hunga Ha’apai volcano on January 15, 2022 induced strong atmospheric disturbances, which traveled around the world as Lamb waves. When this wave passed through superconducting gravimeter station at Matsushiro, Japan, a large signal gravity changes was recorded. Also, barometers installed Matsushiro recorded trains pressure changes. Analysis barometer data revealed that disturbances plane Applying theory loading for traveling waves, observed were well reproduced by sum three components loading, namely, Newtonian, free-air and inertial effects. In particular, effect is rarely observed, clearly identified in data. From theoretical modeling, an estimate rigidity shallow region Earth also obtained. Graphic

Effects of horizontal acceleration on the superconducting gravimeter CT #036 at Ishigakijima, Japan
In the gravity sensor of a superconducting gravimeter, a superconducting sphere as a test mass is levitated in a mag‐ netic field. Such a sensor is susceptible to applied horizontal as well as vertical acceleration, because the translational degrees of freedom of the mass are not perfectly limited to the vertical direction. In the case of the superconducting gravimeter CT #036 installed at Ishi...
متن کاملSuperconducting gravimeter calibration by co-located gravity observations – results from GWR C025
After a 12 years’ observation in Vienna (VI), the superconducting gravimeter GWR C025 has been transferred in autumn 2007 to the new Conrad observatory (CO) 60 km SW of Vienna. It is one of few instruments which were operated at different stations. This aspect motivated a re-analysis of all calibration experiments performed so far in VI and CO, focused on the direct impact of drift effects and ...
متن کاملThe Superconducting Gravimeter as a Field Instrument Applied to Hydrology
We describe development of a transportable version of the Superconducting Gravimeter (SG) and its test in a field experiment to monitor storage in a karst (limestone) aquifer in central Texas. The SG is contained within two aluminum enclosures, one holding the SG in its 35 liter helium dewar, plus electronics; and the second for refrigerator and power supply. In the field test, the SG was suppo...
متن کاملstudy of atmospheric total ozone variations due to winter synoptic scale disturbances over iran
ozone is an important chemical constituent of the atmosphere, and stratosphere it protects the earth surface from harmful uv radiations, such that it is known as “good ozone” while, in the lower troposphere it is a highly oxidizing pollutant and known as “bad ozone”. it is also a greenhoure gas that can affect the climate. hence, the study of spatial and temporal variations of ozone is importan...
متن کاملSensitivity of ionosonde detection of atmospheric disturbances induced by seismic Rayleigh waves at different latitudes
Ionospheric disturbance was observed in ionograms at Kazan, Russia (55.85◦N, 48.81E), associated with the M8.8 Chile earthquake in 2010 (35.91◦S, 72.73W). The disturbance was caused by infrasound waves that were launched by seismic Rayleigh waves propagating over 15,000 km along Earth’s surface from the epicenter. This distance was extremely large compared with the detection limit of similar io...
